Hi All,
I haven't posted in a while but i was wondering , anyone out there know when , where and who invented the svengali deck? Any help on this matter will be appricated
I am master of misdirection, look over there.

Thank you mandrake. I think the sevangali is kinda over looked because it is found in starter sets. but i like the thing anyone else?

It is indeed generally credited to Burling Hull but there is some disagreement among magical historians on this matter. There are those who say that the inventor was in fact a chap named Leroy. I do know that a lot of Burling's contemporaries used to call him Hurling Bull rather than Burling Hull.
I have no idea who invented the bloody thing. However I do know who is the greatest svengali exponent of all time and who wrote the greatest book about it.
I know the chap personally.
