I think it is worth noting that HITH is a visual illusion like sooo many others...like a magic trick really.

We don't need to list the myriad of magic tricks that defy sense or logic. They entertain given groups of people when performed by performers who perform the tricks in an integrated way.

I do not like childrens magic...I just don't but some routines are very funny and the effects and performances are great...wouldn't think of slagging them off. They are still magic and something people perform for an enjoying crowd...what's the problem?

Why are people trying to convince others that they really "shouldn't like the taste of an apple" when they do?! So what if the apple has been touted to be the best thing to grow on a tree?

This is an argument over something else...NOT the effect or the way it looks/ is performed, etc...this thread should continue elsewhere if people want to takes shots trying to be right or prove others wrong or generally moan about magic marketing.

Well, I bought it, watched the dvd, tried it out and didn't think it suited me. Out and about with friends the other day (the sun was shining, very rare in my neck of the woods) I thought, what the hell and gave it a go. The reactions were as good as I've ever got!!!
So maybe theres a time and a place for it after all. It might not be for you,
but then again it's not for you.

Got mine and really like it. It is a very sunny day here so more practise later i think. I really like this effect but i can see how some people will not like it.

These have been selling like hotcakes at my store, although I was initially skeptical about stocking it in the UK (for the obvious reason of having no sun!)

However, I have noticed that now the sun's out, the effect is everso strong (I'd only tried it personally during the 'gloom'.)

A fantastic effect, but you have to take it for what it is—and not what you EXPECT it to be. Used correctly, in the right circumstance, this is very strong stuff.

Yes, and thanks to the NUMS offer, I succumbed....Less than a tenner for this effect. Can't wait to see it and do it...had perfect sun in Suffolk today!

Got this yesterday and really think it is cool. The production of the material is top class and you get some really helpful tips. Tried it out in the garden and it really looks fab, especially the fact that the spectators can wave their fingers behind the hole! Great value at NUMS!

Not fishing, I swear. I am not much of a trick item user, and I was just wondering what the reset time was or how long it takes to get at least partially clean.

This does look like a nice effect if used right.

No reset needed, but I would not do it twice the same audience.

How long is the video ?

Not entirely sure the length of the video is relevant here?

The DVD and Booklet come as part of the package, and although you won't be going out and buying a jumbo bucket of popcorn to sit and enjoy the DVD, it's sufficiently long enough to get you 'into the mode'.

I haven't got it, but isnt "No reflective devices" a bit misleading.

This is clearly being purchased by the wrong people. it is not a 'magic trick' it is a situation piece. When carefully studied and with the right skills in handling spectators, this can be a great effect.
