It's a good effect and it's really well made. He teaches you everything you need to know in order to do the trick. There are a few problems with their decription of it and the demo video. They say there are no switches but the first trick you see in the demo requires a switch to perform it the way you saw (even though directly after it they say there are none whatsoever). Another problem on the demo is the second trick (making the bottle switch around in his pocket). There is a camera cut in it - you would not be able to actually perform the trick as you see him do it.

While there are these problems the tricks are good and even once I knew how they were done I would watch the performance part of it again and be amazed at them. Also while there is a switch in the first trick during the demo he does actaully perform the same trick without a switch (it's not as effective as the one in the demo but it's still good).

Overall

This is hard. If there werent any lies and trickery in the demo video and description then I would give it a 5.

Because of this I'll give it a 3.5/5. It's really well made and fun to use.

Just for those who don't want to check the link, here's the blurb from magictricks:
From the inventive mind of Alex Lourido (Butter Coin, Osmosis, Rainbow Coins, and Retro Magic) comes his most spectacular trick, yet -- the Glass Mirage! This beautifully crafted and ingenious prop will have you performing mind-twisting feats with ordinary, unprepared beer and soda bottles that are so incredible, they defy physics!

For example, you take an empty beer bottle and turn it upside down to fully extract any remaining fluid. You display both of your hands completely empty, and with a magical wave over the bottle, the sound of re-pressurization is heard! Then the cap instantly appears on the bottle's mouth! You hand the bottle out for full examination and to everyone's astonishment, the bottle is now completely refilled and fully capped with an airtight seal! They open the bottle with a bottle opener and hear it de-pressurize, while the beer foam bubbles up and gently cascades down the side of the bottle!

Or you place an empty beer bottle at the centre of a table and cover it with a thin, shear silk. On your command the sound of re-pressurization is heard! Then you, or a spectator, remove the silk to reveal that the bottle is completely filled, capped, and sealed!

You can also inform your friends and audience that you have trained yourself to remove a non twist-off cap from any beer bottle, with nothing more than your bare hands! You borrow an unopened and completely sealed bottle from someone and proceed to place your fingers around the cap. With a light prying motion the cap is seen to pop off the bottle and the sound of rushing air is heard! The bottle is openly displayed and shown to be completely open! You put the bottle down on the bar and display the cap in your hand. Then, with a light rub the cap instantly vanishes and to everyone's shock and amazement, it is seen to reappear at the neck of the bottle from whence it came! And of course, the bottle is capped with an airtight seal!

You can also perform all of these amazing routines with corked wine bottles, as well! And all routines require zero set up! That's right, no tedious preparation or setup required! And with the Glass Mirage on your person, you can perform impossible feats of magic with any bottle containing beer, soda, or wine!

All of these beautiful routines, and much more, are taught by Alex Lourido in the accompanying DVD. He systematically teaches you all of the spectacular tricks and illusions that can be performed with the GLASS MIRAGE. Lourido also shows you how to use this incredible gaff to perform outrageous “Kids Tricks!” such as, taking a glass soda bottle and stretching it out to almost twice its original size and then bending it in half! Followed by tying its’ neck into a knot! He also shows you the spectacular routines that are made easy with the GM, like “Card to bottle” and many more!

Description :
The GLASS MIRAGE is a beautifully designed gaff that is constructed of the world's finest materials. This item will never see the inside of a dark drawer, because you will carry it practically everywhere you go! So pick up the GM today, and begin creating you own Glass Mirages!

Thanks for your review. I'd like to get more info, if possible.

Looking over the good Mandrake's post of the seller's blurb, would you say any of it is in error? In other words, are they claiming you can do things you actually can't? If so, what?

Thanks!

The misleading part is the demo video but in the description they do mention things that can't be done. For example you can't really place it in the center of a table or on a bar, you have to be holding the bottle.
