Gig Forum?

Postby Tomo » May 14th, '06, 14:24

I worked a very cool party last night and had a great time. I managed to really unsettle a few people, which was nice. Someone actually shouted, "No! That didn't just happen!" when her card appeared in her handbag.

I'm just wondering if there's scope for a gig forum where we could properly report our experiences of working a room? We could post any failures and perhaps learn from them or pass on performance tips that have a direct bearing on actual events.

Dunno. Just thinking aloud, really.

I agree it would make interesting topics of converastion, but I don't feel we need any new rooms.

The dicussions could take place in events - but perhaps one the magician only forums would be a better place?

Research and Development maybe?

That's a good idea. It just came to me because a good gig leaves you on the sort of high where you want to tell someone about it (so does a bad one!). The secrets area would enable people to go into detail. Nice one. :)

Do we actually need the R&D room?

Seems that this is a slow paced room and much of what's in there could be suited to other areas, either in the secret or open rooms.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
