Does anyone know where I can get a good quality short-side cut stripper deck (blue bikes)? Added to that - anyone know where I can get the above for less than the £9 "cards4magic" are charging?!

I got my Bicycle Stripper Deck last thursday, and within minutes was able to perform several tricks, such as:
cutting to a card placed in the deck.
finding a card placed in the deck.
separating the red cards from the black cards.

I happened to go to a wedding and two family picnics over the next few days and had a lot of fun enteraining my family and friends with it.

One thing though, I noticed at our independence day picnic was that when it was very hot and humid and rainy out and I was performing outside, that I could not do as good a job handling the cards as before. I'd pull multiple cards out of the deck, or get some blacks/reds mixed in with the opposite color.

All in all though most people were very entertained with what I could do, but it almost felt like I was cheating since it takes very little skill to work with this deck.

I also was able to do other non stripper card magic with the deck, so I did not have to carry multiple decks of cards around, the Bicycle Stripper deck is indistingushable from an ordinary Bicycle deck to the unintiated, so I could allow spectators to handle and examine the cards without worry.

Another nice thing was that I could combine the fact that I had a stripper deck with other ordinary tricks that needed some setup before hand, allowing me to shuffle the cards at first in front of the spectators, then "cut" the cards in front of them, setting them up for the trick. (hope that is not disclosing too much).

Unlike other tricks I've bought, I am very happy with this purchase.

Woah there! You're only scratching the surface of what's possible. What you've mastered is the basic cut and strip and it's a great tool to incorporate into "normal" card tricks, but don't stop there. It sounds like you're doing it pretty well despite the weather, but there's plenty more to explore. Can you yet seem to demonstrate your clairvoyant abilities by telling the spectator to within one card where theirs is in a spec-shuffled deck simply placed on a table, or put a demonstrably random deck to your ear and just by listening to the sound of each card as you flick by it, locate any named card first time every time? Or extract the aces and shuffle them both into the deck and back out in their original order? It helps to really think deeply about all the wild and wooly information the deck hands to you. There's a whole world of sleights, false shuffles, stacks, forces and other weird things can do with this deck that go way beyond cutting and stripping.

When Seige releases it on NUMS, you can read more in my new book (I've always wanted to say that!)

Yes you can do much more thing then the basic with this deck. Does anyone know if its a good idea to buy the book : 101 tricks with Stripper deck or its just a waste of money? Anyway it only cost 2$ ( on penguin). I just wanted to know if theres a better book to learn difficult trick with this deck ( not only basic sleight) or does anyone have this book I talked above?

there will be

"101 Tricks" is a good introduction if you're new to cards in general, as is the 25 tricks book and DVD, but you'll soon realise that there are about five really good tricks in both, with a lot of the material being variations on a theme with different patter.

P.S: I thought I'd exhausted the possibilities, but I'm now working on volume two of my book, this time covering stacks and shuffles in depth.

lol thx
and where can I buy volume One of your book?

but you'll soon realise that there are about five really good tricks in both

When I purchased this deck, I received a little sheet with some tricks:
- How to Separate Black/Red
- Four ace trick
- Find any card in the deck
- Pass the Selected card thru the table
- Allow a number of volunteer to each select a card and then draw them all out of the pack
- ...

If those are the Five tricks u were talking about about then maybe I dont need to buy the 101 tricks book...

I'm hoping it'll be when Seige is safely spliced and honeymooned, but you'll have to ask him directly. The last mailing list missive said there would be some big releases in September so maybe then... unless I've been dropped

Yeah, that sort of thing, but there's a card in balloon trick and a card on ceiling and some thoughts on duplicates in "101 Tricks" too.
