I bought this trick recently and I quite like it. I've only tried this trick twice, but it worked beautifully both times. Beginners luck maybe?

The DVD itself is not the greatest, and the teacher is a bit of cheese-meister, but overall it is adequately taught. The sleights and the misdirection were the main thing I learnt from this video, but otherwise when I have made some changes to the method to make it more difficult for the spectator to realise how it's done. I know enough about card magic now to be able to do this, so please excuse me for giving myself a little pat on the back...

If anyone is interested in knowing my method i'll be happy to tell them. Be warned though, it takes a bit more prep work then the taught method, but it is worth the payoff in IMO.

Is that even allowed? Announcing that your going to tell some one if they ask?

I found the DVD quite cheesy in the end. Ive performed Phone a few times but dont think i'll be using the main effect anytime soon....or ever....

EDIT: Sorry, just re-read what you said and it made more sense that time! My brain sometimes skips words, its a condition.

On second thoughts maybe I shouldn't reveal my method, since the explanation necessarily involves giving away the original method. Sorry, I'm a bit new as you can probably tell.

In any case, it's nothing profound, so anyone with a bit of card knowledge will be able to make the deck fully examinable for this trick.
