This is a longshot at best.

On the edge of buying, but just wondering if I were to turn the screen of a TV/PC off whilst I had the beast near it whether this would stop damage?

I'm not terribly clued up on liquid crystals..

LCD displays are generally safe, it's old style CRT displays which you have to be *very* careful around.

Turning the set off will not make any difference!
I damaged my TV a while ago with a similar product. I was gutted, everything went purple and green!

I got some Magnets years back, that are like four round discs about the diameter of ten pence, but about a cm deep...they came in a huge box with plastic dividers etc...is this a similar item here that Ive already got ? or is the BB an ivestment still?

Berthga and her sisters are biggies - both in size and attractive power. You wouldn't want your finger (or anything else) in the way if two of them decided to slam together!
