If you have never seen one, its a potato gun and it is made out of PVC piping. The fuel used it hairspray and the igniter is a igniter.
...estimated at 355 MPH out of the barrel

Bizarre coincidence - my sister's boyfriend does exactly the same sort of stuff! They hace created a whole series of potato rockets - "Spudniks"

and like nothing better on a saturday afternoon than taking Spudnik out onto the Moors and freaking out ramblers with falling potato comets...

haha yup it was done at my school and with my teacher too..but it related to projectile motion so he said it was ok
