how do you street magicians make any money from performing in the street?
is it like busking where you put a hat/box out and people put in loose change or is there a totally different method?

all i can think of is 3 card monte and the 3 shell game

I dunno about magicians, but I've been seriously tempted to try some busking in Northampton MA... Main St. there is a great place for musicians!

Ok... you have my attention (I live in Noho as well)

I know that the local laws prohibit anything other than musical type street performance. Several merchants and political personalities along with myself and a few other performers are trying desperately to make changes along that route but it would seem Mary-Claire don't want "quality" and "controlled" amusements in the town... the trash is perfectly fine  (and you know what I mean by that).

If you're in Noho... look up the big man in the purple & grey wheelchair (usually @ Starbucks in the mornings)

Hey! I didn't even notice you were from noho! (I live in Holyoke), but I may have seen a "big man in purple and grey wheelchair before" ... do you have magic shows there or anything like that?

No... the most I do now days are some private party dates and tableside Readings for folks (I'm pure mentalist... haven't done a "magic show" in nearly ten years).

Look around, a good score of folks in town know who Craig the Psychic is
