When designing a logo, it's essential to know the context it's in.

A design reflects personality, character, theme.

The word 'design' is these days misinterpreted. I'm afraid that asking someone to design a logo, without putting the specific need in context will get you nowhere!

I've given about 3 design seminars in the last 2 years, and every time I do I encounter the same thing: People with a computer, photoshop and a colour printer are suddenly designers!

http://www.answers.com/topic/graphic-design

Composition, etc. is key.

Sorry to spout off over this, but I detest the misuse of the word 'design'.

Midge, if you give some idea of the context the logo is to be used in, i.e. what does the company do, where will the logo be used, etc... I will SHOW you how the design process works—which SHOULD prove of interest to many.

Hmmmm...i agree with what seige has said...

the fella did say ideas, i was kinda hoping for a bit more info too...but there you go...

2 colour or more, gif or jpeg, letterheads or poster, all these things and a whole lot more need considering, dont get me started on print specs...

even re-think the name of your company if what it suggests is nothing to do with what you are offering as a service or products (if it's not too late)...

No stuck with the name now, it was a pin in a map method to select it.

I am just looking foe something for a letter head business card. Either the typesetting of the name or a logo

As mentioned - open your Profile, scroll to the bottom and there are 2 options to upload. Either from your machine or from a website.
