She can't get the shoes without getting past him, so he counts as opposition

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

LOL... Hard for a bloke to admit isn't it!

I'd like to see how they take a corner with handbags... or penalties that could be interesting!

And what about handballs... er, I mean handbags... or is it handhandbags... oh I give up!

 It's less socially acceptable for you to be confused about it than me, yes.

Ah but that could make for nasty tackles, swacking someone in the shin wiht your buckled handbag could do someone a nasty injury! Perhaps instead of Yellow and Red cards, there could be Red Lipstick and Yellow hair tinter?

Being a girl is actually a good excuse for a lot of things...loosing, being bad at sport, being moody, being indecisive, being scared of things, crying etc etc 8)

Question....

Postby AngelPup » Jun 27th, '10, 21:47

For the first time in my life I think I am beginning to understand....my only query though is - is the goal-keeper included as one of the two players from the opposing team that has to be in front of you when the ball is passed??? :?:

The goalie doesn't count, no.

Also, a good way to see how a defending team uses this rule to their advantage is the 'offside trap'. This is when you see the defenders stand in a line and make sure they put an attacking player between themselves and their keeper. They do this so that any ball played to that player causes that attacking player to be 'offside' and the defenders get a free kick and foil the attack.

I don't like shoes any more than I like football. Can I change the example to video games? Ah, it all makes sense now...

but what about the offside trap where the opposition in the queue realise that you are about to run forward to catch your purse so they all start moving the queue further away from the counter. This makes you look silly standing there without also moving back with the rest of the queue.
