The Effect grab yourself a beer, open it and pour it into a glass, place a coin on your hand and whack the beer can down on your hand, coin dissapears and "appears" in the beer can. the crowed saw you pour the beer so they know there is nothing in the can.

Cost £7

Difficulty 2-3 i think, to be honest i am so new at this i am not sure what is considered a hard sleight.
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Review ok so last night i was bored trying to work out card passes and saw the vid for this trick, i had an idea of how it worked but as it was so well presented and performed i thought, what the hell, £7 is a night of beer, and i had free beer that night so i thought "might as well make it even" got the PFD and spent 10mins practicing. litrally 10mins later i was looking in the mirror to see what it would look like to the "crowed" and i was shocking myself. i stand by this... the simplest tricks are the best! the girlfriend turned up and i showed her, she was shocked and amazed. dad was about too and he really had no idea how i was doing it. all in all great!

Overall oveall i am very pleased with the trick, i shall use this and i am starting to have a few tricks that i am getting good at.

i think if you are someone who likes very visual and aural tricks then this is for you!

9/10

Postby ade98 » Jun 30th, '06, 13:11

Any chance you could let us have a website address where I could see a video of this? Sounds interesting.

Thanks

Probably a strange question but does it have to be a beer can? Could it be a coke can? I am assuming it can be but thought I should double check incase something like the hight of the can makes a difference as beer cans are normally taller than coke cans.

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

really, really nice....the 'slower' version of the demo looks very convincing indeed! Quite a challenger to Sinful.....and cheaper too!

Speaking of sinful could you use this as a follow up to the sinful effect, using the same signed coin?

not right away.... shortly afterwards, maybe abit of chat and then say you have something else to show them with the same can / coin. also signed coin is a bit tricky and not something I would bother with. you really dont need it for this trick the effect is SOO visual you see and hear the coin go!
