Review
This is a strange little utility item. Very simple to use, yet im finding it hard to express what it is exactly without giving the game away. So, by way of an example I'll say this:
You have a list of say 5 objects on a small card, you hand the card to a participant, along with a pen, and ask them to decide on one of these objects and cross through it. To further confuse you, you ask them to then cross through all the others too…you take the card back and…you've guessed it, you tell them which object they first crossed out…
That’s just one application. You could for example, ask someone to draw a small design/symbol on a piece of paper, then draw some more…again, you pick out their first image.
You can use any pen, and any paper…
Overall
Ok, the effects above could play fairly strong, but if combined with some pocket writing/swami work, it plays even stronger. There would be no need for any verbal confirmation this way…
It’s a very sneaky item involved. You can use any pen, a sleight (sic) set-up is involved if you don’t use your own, but its minimal and easy to do…
There are obviously a myriad uses/applications to this, I've tried it out about half a dozen times in the field as it were, never had anyone point anything out or give me funny looks…act nonchalant, and it shall be nonchalant afterall…its not a life changing effect, but a very nice sideways thinking…and cheap!
I would say a robust 3.5 out of 5 for me, I wouldn't use it all the time, but in the right 'settings' its very usuable, with some strong results.
