but then "senior members" would not feel so important, how about new member? old member, or used member? each having issues too working from your logic.

for credibility maybe there age should not be a factor "junior" they are either members or not :?

likewise new user when do i stop been a new user - posts? time? what if i only used the board to watch events (voyuer) and never posted would that still make me a new user? - as for those terms i am niether "new" nor a "user". i think all titles should be scraped and we should be know as "the one called..."

just kidding guys but really picking on genitaliar you should be ashamed

Tom...

Let's not worry. I've been labelled some things in my time, but 'Preferred Member'???

It would suggest I 'put it about a bit', would it not?

I would like to confirm (in case my lovely missus reads in) that I wish from now on to be referred to as 'Monogamous Member'.

As far as the 'Junior Member' bit goes - I agree about the 'age' thing. Perhaps the list should have gone (in order)

1: Observer (0 posts to 4 posts)
2: Participator (5 posts to 24 posts)
3: Contributor (25 posts to 49 posts)
4: Forum Citizen (50 to 99 posts - thanks to Yankee Tom for this one!)
5: Junior Moderator (100 posts to 199 posts)
6: Moderator (200 posts to 299)
7: Administrator (300 posts +)

Obviously, there are much better things to do with your life than make any more than 100 posts!

Nice thread though, and I feel Yankee Tom should immediately be an honourary Contributor from the word go! :P

does this make me a junior mod??? woooohoooooo.... hehe

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

 forum citizen nice ring to it
somone will moan watever you call them, why not just leave the names and carry on with the number of posts.

if the moderaters then want to give title like wordsmith, poet lauriet ect then so be it, if people like your posts they will reply and give thier oppinion after all thats what its realy about.
after all at 5am no one is around to reply to my rantings and raveings i have to wait for the sensible people to wake up.

so call me what you like, talk good about me or bad about me just talk about me (quote from owen heart, wrestler).

its the subjects we are realy interested in not the honoury titles, though interesting insomniac sounds good not that i need any special title erm

Oh how i long to make the magical 50 posts and be a proper magician. Can anyone tell me what happens when that magical 50 is hit? Will i wake up the following morning and levitate my way to the bathroom, will i appear a bacon sandwich from beneath my pillow? Derren Brown had better watch out cos when im a senior magician i will have my own Channel4 series i think!!!!! But for now i will carry on posting as a very happy junior member and be grateful for all the help and advice i have found within this forum...which is the whole principle isnt it? You senior blokes (and girlies) helping us juniors!!!

 thats what we are here for i think :?:

what happens at fifty posts, not alot just a name change.

but by then the people on this forum should have some idea about what styles you like and what you can contribute.

you may find people will regularly seek out your posts to see what you have written, if your lucky you may even get some discount with this store (I'm sure i heard that mentioned).

anyway i hope you enjoy our little community.
