some really cool looking effects on here.

In my mind - I can see a performance of a mixture of one or two of these, and one or two of Blackhearts website. Halloween in the dark, and all the ghosties about

News just in from Lebanoncircle:

For ‘From Hell’ orders there’s some good news and some bad news….

The bad news…

The card edition of From Hell is now out of print, I have very few copies of this edition left (10) so if you’ve placed your order early enough you may be lucky.

The good news!....

The new edition of From Hell will be released on 21st September.

This edition will consist of 52 aged photographs instead of playing cards. The effect is exactly the same in every respect. The authentic aged photos still come ribbon bound in a bloody rag. The price tag will be higher but pre-orders received before the 21st will be able to purchase this new edition at the original From Hell price.

re-doable to same audience?

Postby samdan » Sep 7th, '06, 01:22

Hi,
I am a noob and this is my first post/question. Can this effect be performed to the same audience right away? I am someone who loves magic and limit my activities to tricks for friends and family so a one time only trick isn't great for me. Thanks in advance!

Hi Samdan, I wouldn't repeat ANY trick right away to the same audience, it just wouldn't have the same impact the second time. You are giving them a better chance of discovering the method, they know what to look for the second time.

Having said that, I have been performing 'Out Of This World' (the same principle on which this effect is based) for years and friends who have seen it numerous times, over the years, still don't get it... so maybe it's the sort of thing you are lookng for.

Meantime, I got told off not so long ago for not posting an introduction when I joined in the group so why not go to Introductions and tell us all a bit about yourself?

BTW, are you a Korean Martial Artist? (Samdan is Third Dan in Korean styles).

I did not know about introduction section but will post an intro. I was into Tae Kwon Do a long time ago but the samdan is coincidental. Thanks for your assistance.

OK, so i might get flamed a little for my opinion, but i was more than a little dissapointed i admit. I paid 15pounds for a trick as old as the hills that any 10 year old can do. I was expecting something a bit more ingenious

I think Tom's setup is absolutely brilliant!
I can visualize him in the local pub in the late evening with that setup... brrrrr...
But this is nothing for the sunday afternoon family magic show
