It's a steal but I'm sure "one card pass" makes sense too,, and for what it achieves, its pretty easy. It's one of those moves that is a lot easier than those already in existence yet achieves the same thing

I think Ken Krenzel published it under the title of a 'one-card middle pass', but yeah I can imagine you could call it a steal.

My copy dropped through the letterbox today.....

Having watched it through I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Simply beautiful to watch, the fact that I don't yet have a prayer of being able to perform most of this doesn't detract from it in the least.

I know what you mean flashman sir. Sometimes i just put it on like its a movie its so damn entertaining.

I've mastered a few things off it. Did i say mastered? I meant fumbled my way through. His version of OOTW is a regular feature for me, but also quite a few things from the Psychological Effects DVD. Its all good stuff.

Spent the past week absorbing this dvd. Absolutely wonderful!

Does it seem strange to anyone else, how awkward Derren looks smoking a cigarette? He states he doesn't smoke but due to his attention to detail I would have thought he would have practiced it until he looked like Dot from Eastenders........he must value his lungs.

Also is there some sort of 'in' joke with using the word 'splendid' in this dvd? I found it funny anyway.

That's the extent I have to go to to find a fault!!! What a great dvd.

Well worth it fab1qaz, not only for the effects themselves, but the entertainment value and for the tips he gives about the psychology of audience management.

A delight. :D Sometimes I watch it just to be entertained.

I seriously didn't know that Derren was once a cardician, so this really appeals to me because I love card tricks and am interested in learning new routines and sleights. If all that is taught in a single DVD set, then I'm definately getting this. It's only because of his recent "Evening of Wonders" that I searched for Derren on TM and found the "Devil's Picture Book!" I never new he had a product out except for Tricks of the Mind, and his various DVDs of all his series'. Very interesting indeed. I'm so excited, hehe! :D

Another thing, I don't know why people cannot access the "secret" area of his site. I'm only 15 and I've heard of Eugene.

Oh man, has he stopped selling them? I'm not surprised, he's sold them way longer than I thought he would, but that's some seriously tough news for new people who want a look at the single most important instructional tape ever released. That was the first magic tape I ever bought, and I doubt I'd even bother these days if it hadn't been for that.

Would love to know how many copies are out there, it must be thousands. Expect prices to jump through the roof now the element of scarcity has been introduced - luckily, I have it both on tape and DVD, so once I've sold them both off I'll have enough to retire in Sicily.
Same game, can't reform 'em.

I just checked and it's still available from his website. He just have another password now, but that shouldn't be a problem if you're serious about card magic which you'll better be if you plan to learn something from these DVD's :)

It's locked in with the image of Hannibal Lecter clubbing his guards to death for me, it has an unsettling undercurrent of menace.
