Or you could try tweeting Coops, Derren's assistant, as you might get a quicker response (as it is very likely to be Coops who sends out the discs). Then you can consider "going public" via DB himself if you hear nothing. :)

That sounds like good advice, as when I contacted an out of date number on the website, the guy who answered the phone gave me an email address for "Coops" but that bounced back as well :(

Any chance you could PM me a number/email/Tweet address?

Thanks in advance

I thought he'd sort the problem fast, but that was really quick! Sorry for not including the address, but I assumed you'd find it the same way I did (by googling "Coops" and "Derren Brown"!). I'm a little hesistant to put things like e-mail addresses up on sites in case of spamming, but Tomo will probably come on and tell me how completely misguided that is. :-)

So, is it the opinion of the more experienced amongst us, that the material on this dvd is
too advanced for an "Intermediate/Advanced magician?

The reason I ask is because I am considering buying this, & although it is no doubt brilliant to watch,
I would like to no if it is possible for a mere mortal like myself to learn, & not something which I would have to
commit my whole life to..... :D :D

So the second copy arrived last week (Tuesday), it was again a faulty copy but faulty at different points in the discs

Got back in touch with Coops who said that he has sent out 10 copies over the past fortnight and not heard of any problems, so he asked whether I could try another DVD player, I tried another 2 players and the copies are definitely faulty.
I emailed Coops on Thursday and offered out of a gesture of good will to return the faulty copies out of my own pocket

I have heard nothing since, nothing weird in that I guess, it has only been 5 days, but when I first got in touch the emails were pretty quick

Call me paranoid but is my thinking correct in that he might think I am being dishonest, hence the silence now?

Not a lot else I can do is there?

This is day three, really, if you discount the weekend.

Does he think you are being dishonest? How would anyone here know that?

It's great that you found help here, in discovering a way to contact Coops, but my personal view is that problems with suppliers should be dealt with privately - up to the point where the relationship between the customer and the supplier reaches an impasse.

Wasn't complaining about a supplier or a problem as such, was just continuing to let people know what was going on. I did post something very positive last week

I have no doubt the issue will be resolved, and Derron worrying about my £45 is a bit like me stressing about a penny I drop in the street. So as much doubt we will reach impasse
