I'd say that it's dependant on your type of act. I'm not into the mentalism type of trick so whilst I like it, it's not something that I would personally perform for others.

I will be keeping it for one of those raindy days when I need to do something different at a dinner table etc. I still think that it's good value and an ingeniously simple method.

I saw the Blindsight review so went looking to see if there was a review for this as well.

When it's said that this should be the only card effect you do in a set, is this because everything else will look weak in comparison, or is there something in the method that will give the game away if you do more card stuff?

Has anyone else bought or performed this since the last reply? I'd like to hear more about it.

Thanks.

It's because anything else with cards will look weak and detract from this effect.

Other card tricks will NOT reveal anything of this effect or give the game away - they're just not needed.

Hope that answers your question.

I also have this trick and also give a thumbs up for it. Its a good one, and nice for it to be perform for a group of audience or on stage.

As for not being able to perform it to the same audience twice, this really depends actually. If you are performing on stage, i say there's no problem performing this trick to the same people, as long you don't get the same person on stage, but even if you get the same person on stage, say the next week or month and not immediately after you ask them, there's a high chance they still hvn't a clue as they wouldn't hv remembered.

Personally thinking, This is a good one and a value for money for what is given to you, and the very detail instructions provided. I enjoyed it very much reading the instructions as to performing it. Because I have bought some tricks before and the instruction is just bad, i have to read it like 20times to figure it out.

One problem for me is I am still just not confident enought to perform this trick standing very far far far away from the person i should be reading their mind ..................

I would agree with this statement. Most lay people ask you to repeat a trick immediately after thay have seen the first presentation and this is the time to NOT repeat it. A few days/weeks afterwards and they won't be any the wiser as to how the result is accomplished.

When working on a stage, I would presume that a magician would be presenting an act so would not be receiving requests to "do that one again".
