still, if you have cash to spare and are curious, buy one or two and make up your own minds...

i bought two out of curiousity, but i soon realised i'd be better spending it on booze...oh and eyeliner...

i did like mindbender admittedly, especially if you're talking about PK, and you ask them to select a card and rest it on their hand as you talk a little...then you take that card off them and try it...b-e-n-d...

destroys all doubt that its a "funny" card...

oh i've rambled again...sorry...

ambitious card routines arent really for me, they're good for practicing though, patter, storyline, d-l's, passes, colour changes, misdirection and so on...but i'd say - learn your sleights, then make up your own

on the general subject of ellusionist though, i found it very poor on one recent dvd they show a small group of people how cardies "cheat" and actually show them all the basic pass! all during your magic-routine...i hope that doesnt start a trend...i was gobsmacked to be honest....

revealling a very powerful sleight just to gain a tiny bit of misdirection...rubbish...very poor indeed...bad brad....

Also Brad uses bridge sized cards. They are easier to manipulate.

well, using bridge sized cards is no shame...use whatever cards you like!

Yeah, I also noticed that brad uses bridge cards on the ACR download. Bridge size cards are so much easier to use, to do a pass with a bridge size deck is a joy.

And Brad himself can be a bit of a jerk. But his teaching is pretty good when you actually buy the DVD. And also aren't a lot of mega rich comercial magigicians jerks anyway. Take Sankey, my favourite magician who is so comical and freindly. But he is so obsesed with how his products are sold, MT UK had to abolish their contract because he was such a control freak.

And the eyeliner!!! It's really, I mean really bad in Ninja1.

You kind of expect Brad to break away for a moment during a trick with something like ' so.. yada yada yada .. you execute the pass.. yeh, execute a pass, on a guy!! and then go out and but a tacky red dress.. and give yourself a name like.. Wanda!!''

That eyeliner.. I really think he is tryin to be cool, dark and mysterious..

has anyone noticed how rough the woman in the Ninja videos is? maybe shes a real witch....

I think brad uses his heavy eye-liner for misdirection, "is this dude wearing make up?....holey sh*t that card just changed!"

I met Sankey, and was a bit disappointed. He was not very friendly, and considering his "DVD character", I was expecting a really cool dude; but he was a bit of a jerk.
Good magician, but in my opinion, his magic becomes worse and worse.

Wow were did you meet him.

So how was he a jerk then, or was it too much of a short meeting to go into any real details.

I agree with you about his magic, but he really has done nearly everything that any magician could do in terms of products.

I met him in Blackpool, at the convention. He was not a total jerk, but you know he's done a brilliant & fun lecture, but straight after he didn't sign any card or stuff for the poor fans that waited, he just rushed out to the tables outside to sell his stuff.
I got time to get a pic taken with him, but I dunno... He was not so friendly I thought.
