Presumably you're using the 'bang it against your palm' method of separation? A pk ring or... er... 'similar device' would do the job nicely...

No guys, I am using a magnet. It just seems to stick. I actuall "broke" it trying to force it apart and had to stick it back together.

Bizarre. Sounds like you got bad one. Happens sometimes, I guess. If you like the trick I would get another one, it should definately work better than you are describing..

If you are having a lot of trouble seperating "old"
ones I'd try a light inside and out polish with brasso
as it slighty abrasive (thats wht it polishes so well)
It smooths off any slight surface rust inside and
any surface grease/c*** (not the best) outside
Sould sort you out fine

But I agree that the super stiff new one is faulty

Thank you for your research! :)
A bit high priced tho 53euro ,what are you thinking is it worth to pay so much for a single effect like this?

I think it's worth it. It's a crowd pleaser particularly when you do it with a glass before spectators eyes.
There are many kinds of effects you can do with this coin, some are included with it.
As stated by previous posters, I find a shiny 1p one of the most effective methods of seperation, but since purchasing a PK ring, this is what I use all the time as it's quick, convneient and with a bit of misdirection can be done whilst stood in front of the spectators.

I have used Eddie coins for years and have many different versions, they are worth the price, so many uses and effects can be performed.

cosmicsecret I paid £30 for my english CU
about 4 years ago on the site its now listed at £32

This little baby goes with me anytime I may be asked to do magic
visually very powerful and no space in your pocket

The comments you get praising your skill and the wows you will get with
it make it an all time winner

If I lost / broke (don't see how ) / spent (yup done that one )
I would buy another without blinking

It must be in the top 5 easiest most powerfull self working tricks of all time
just my opinion but no one else here is saying much different

I have the 10p/2p version and I got a real (normal) 10p stuck inside the 2p! It's at an angle poking out. Any ideas how to rescue it? Certainly drilling a hole into the side of the 10p would enable to lever it out but I don't have a vice and stuff.
