I am talking about if there were a genuine telekinetic ability. The ability to make tiny movements would be impressive and potentially valuable. Having to use light objects, or balance them, does not necessarily make them less amazing than shifting an iron bar.

You knew that really, right?

I have yet to purchase the PK pens, but I have a ring. It has it's uses but is not that strong.
It's great for watch stopping, coin through bottle and for resetting coin unique without much trouble.
For telekenisis of spoons, etc I find The Bat far more effective, but the ring is convenient to carry around with you!

You will find that using the ring in conjunction with the pens creates great PK kinda stuff, it really is great.

There's an increasing number of customers who are purchasing rings from me who wonder why the ring isn't 'that strong'.

My answer is always this:

It IS strong. Strong enough to do a whole host of magic, not confined to PK effects. It also has utility uses as a steal aid, a production aid, and more importantly for me, a means of achieving localised magnetism and magnetic 'feel' for proximity effects.

I do NOT RECOMMEND anyone who is remotely adverse to creating their own magic to purchase a ring of any type, as you'll simply be disappointed, it seems.

Thanks. I understand the Wizard pens are balanced/made specially for this.
I have been practising with spoons and normal metal pens and have just about got the distance right without them 'becoming friends' with the ring (if you know what I mean) which is a real giveaway.

One routine I have used is placing a penny amongst some paper/cards and doing the levitation-type trick. This can be quite effective when done properly.

It is a great steal device too. If you place a penny in the palm of one hand and appear to rub it away, very gently, there is no 'talking' and it appears to dissolve. You can also reproduce the coin by rubbing your hands together gently.
I have performed this for a few people whilst talking about the poor quality metals the Royal Mint use these days and follow it up borrowing some of their coins and performing cig thru coin, bitten coin and another vanish with coin unique.

I'm thinking about buying a PK ring..
and I was wondering.. because of the unique properties of the ring will it be able to get it ingraved..

cause If I could let a jewel store ingrave my name or date or whatever it would look more natural that im wearing the ring.. It would have a reason..

is this possible? cause I could imagine the problems of doing this.. anybody have any experience with this?

From previous discussions I think it's unlikely that these rings can be engraved. Whilst they look like metal they can be easily chipped or damaged if knocked or dropped and I guess engraving might also cause problems. The PK Website might be able to say more or perhaps one of their dealers. You could try PMing seige or Gochos The Greek who both distribute and know a lot about what can and can't be done with PK.

DVD of uses of PK Ring

Postby mrsat » Nov 20th, '06, 00:19

I wonder if anyone knows of a dvd that demonstrates applications (routines) with the PK ring?
