The Effect
The blurb from the web site.
The performer tosses out a deck of cards asking the spectator to look through the deck (not to remove a card) and to MENTALLY select any card. This being done the pack is tossed back to the performer.
The performer removes his wallet from his coat pocket and with a finger snap, says (jauntily) "Your card is now in my wallet." Opening the wallet, a single face down card is seen. "Look familiar?", quips the performer.
Responding to the derisive hoots and looks of appalled disbelief, the performer tosses the deck to the spectator. "See for yourself," he says, "and for the first time, name your card."
The spectator does so, then opens the pack. Spectator looks... and looks ... but his card is not there. He counts the cards and there are only 51 cards. Eyes shift back to the performer. "As you can see, there are but 51 cards and this is the fifty-second -- your card." At this, the performer slowly removes the card from his wallet. It is, indeed, the chosen card!
Please remember these important points:
1. No sleights of any kind.
2. The deck is in the spectator's hands before he reveals his card.
3. No force whatsoever -- the spectator's choice is free and clear.
Honestly, this IS enough for you to discard the rest of your card-in-wallet effects!

Review
Very disappointed with this. Certainly not cheap & to my mind unusable both in what you get & in method.
You recieve a 17 1/2cm x 12cm black wallet so not suitable for a back pocket & two decks of cards. The cards are in a specific order & marked on the flaps, at least thats what the instructions say but mine weren't marked.
Without giving too much away you chuck out deck one which kinda uses the koran method to force one of 26 cards. So the spec can deal down the cards face up (provided they've made their selection by the 26th card) or you can get them to do it face down.
You then remove the wallet & here comes one of the parts I totally dislike about this. You give the spec the 2nd deck & as there counting through the cards to discover the deck only has 51 cards & that their card is now not in it, you have to open this bulky wallet, & slide the selection into place. The instructions say the spec will not notice you do this as their counting the cards. Piffle!
1. Your holding the wallet open like a book.
2. Your doing a certain something within the wallet. No way this can be done discreetly.
So that is part of the downside but the biggest downside is the wallet itself. It doesn't hold the cards inside at all well, they slide all over making it very hard to find & manouver the card you need at the right time.
The idea behind this effect is lovely but what with the method & particularly the wallet there is no way I will ever attempt to perform this.
The wallet has no other uses other than an oversized wallet with several pockets.
Overall
0/10 - Do not buy.
