recently i bought this 2 cups from the leprachaun series. It's made by the same people who deliverd die chipher and the raven, so i knew it where good gimmicks.
at first i only had the lots-a-coin cup, but in my opinion it isn't a trick on it's own. Together with the Shamrock cup it is very valuable.
The cups are made of aluminium and you can produce (or vanish) coins with it. A €2,- coin works the best. Or a US dollar
With the shamrock cup you can produce any number of coins from one to 5 and the effect is very good! In the booklet there are a lot of tricks, but with a little creativity you can create your own tricks. It's a very strong device; i like tricks that are small and simple; that why i still love the TT; it's so simple and with good practice and a good way to use it, you still astonish people.
The lots-a-coin-cup is the way i use it a grand finale; i switch it with the shamrock cup (the cups looks identical from the outside) it can produce 9 coins; all in once, or one at a time. I prefer one at a time because it's looks more magical. this trick is more 'noisy' than the shamrock cup, so with this finale you need a glass to drop the coins in.
Both cups aren't examinable, but you can give both the cup a quick look at the bottom; the devices al well hidden. To mask them even more (and get some more view-time) you can stick your fingers in it with a twirl, with the comment that there's no double bottom!
my final conclusion; the shamrock cup is a great trick, but don't buy the lots-a-coins cup on it's own, but only together with the shamrock cup.
