You wouldn't need to swap it at all.

The method is not about the lock. The lock is (kind of) incidental.

Nothing funny to see here. Move along now folks after examining and playing with it as much as you want...

The effect itself is perfect. The only problem is that the presentations are (marginally) limited. Even so, with good work you could pretty much fit this to anything you want.

Can you lock this padlock onto any box and then do some mentalism in order for the spectator to open the box? For example say - I'm going to transmit the numbers to you from my mind.. ? Is that possible with “Locked for Life”..?

Had the idea of locking this on to someone's watch, then unlocking it using the time displayed on the watch, hours and minutes. :)

That would be possible but you have to narrow their choice to a specific type of number.
