I got the book today, along with another one of it to give away as a christmas present. I just browsed through it and it seems to be excellent!
Great job TOMO! Congratulations! :)

Oooh. Thank you very much. I saw the order go through and wondered what the delivery time would be like to where Santa lives :D

It took exactly 14 days from Lousyville... oups sorry... from Louisville Kentucky to the North Pole.
Actually the books were sent with a Special Delivery Reindeer to me, from Cafépress, so it made it in good time. I even have time to wrap the one I'm giving as a present, myself... instead of asking one of the elves to help me out :D

I've just spent an hour trying to order your book.

Are you sure Lulu is a good idea? :(

It was dying after I put my address in but before asking for card details.

I stuck with it and did eventually get through.

Now I've just got the long wait for it to arrive.

(I trust it is worth it  )

I've just had a look and apparently they had 12 hours of maintenance yesterday.

Not at all! Some of the most skilled card magicians that ever lived have used them in their time.

It's not always about skill but it is always about achieving the effect in the most direct and least-convoluted way.

Henry Evans can fry your brain with one. I saw a DVD of him performing recently and it just blew me away.

Tomo

Would love to know the name and source of the DVD that included Henry Evans. I'm a fan of his work but there's not much recorded footage of him around which is a shame.

In particular, if anone can point to a clip of his Chinese Misers Dream being performed that would be great. I've googled it but not found a video.

Back to the topic, I've only just bought my first stripper deck and am loving it.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

It was one of those little promotional mini DVD thingies. I'll email the guy who owned it and get the title.
