With regard to liquid latex, just bought SAW (looks v similar to needle thru arm) and am a little concerned about my skin colour. I have slightly darker skin then the average magician. Is this a problem?
Liquid latex actually dries clear so you shouldn't have any problems as far as skin colour goes although I do find that there is an issue with liquid latex that means I have been unable to use it for SAW. I can't go into details due to exposure
When it comes to needle thru arm I find that liquid latex is better personally as the way I perform this means that as soon as the needle is quickly and forcably removed from the arm it is immediately examinable without having to "sterilise" the wound.
With SAW however I find liquid latex unsuitable.
I'm thinking of getting this or/and Saw. But it's mainly for my 11 year old daughter and I've heard that there's some kind of issues with the size of arms and the amount of skin on them. I also have small arms with not much slack skin going spare.
So is one method more suitable for smaller arms? or is Saw the way to go and is there 2 methods for that?
Thanks.
needle thru arm has to be done with RC rather than liquid latex, unless they are the same thing doing this trick close up is unrealistic, on stage is good and on video is the best,
i combine the trick with the needle through hand trick, human blockhead, and walking on broken glass, finished off with a fire eating routine,
the whole pain endurance theme is quite effective, apparent mind over matter
