Remember guys-- when you read it:
1. It was published first in 1963
2. The title then was printed as, The BOLD & Subtle Miracles of Dr. Faust;
The operative word being BOLD.
Sam: 'every single effect cries simplicity'---
That rule/advice alone is worth the price of the book.
Go Thou and do likewise.
and enjoy the book

This really is a great book and a great value.
"The Bold Book Test" and the "Tossed Out Deck" have certainly made quite an impression in our field.
Those two effects are each worth much more than the price of the book.
