Dynamo's Concrete Playground

my DVD came today. i got home from the last day of school and watched it. it was very good.
this is the type of film i like to call a lifestyle film. it shows where dynamo has been brought up, and shows the step by step journey him and his two close friends take from Bradford to Birmingham and then to London, with a lot of cool tricks on the way.
however i feel there could have been a wider variety and more effects on the DVD, however all in all it was worth buying :)
with good effects and a good sountrack i would give it an:
8/10 and recomend it for a crimbo present.
well done D.

Was this the one shown on Comedy Lab on channel 4 earlier this year?

Whether it was released a few days ago on DVD or not is independent of whether it's the same film that was shown as part of channel 4's Comedy Lab series.

Has anyone seen both? There's no point in buying something I've already seen.

The TV programme where he travelled from Bradford to London via Birmingham was certainly on TV earlier this year and there's a discussion thread about it on TM somehere. Perhaps the DVD is an extended version of that programme?

I think the programme on Channel 4 was called Estate of Mind. Concrete Playground has different tricks and people in it. As far as I know, it isn't an extended version of £state of Mind

This dvd is completely seperate product than the ch4 estate of mind show...estate of mind was filmed late 2005 where as the new dvd Concrete playground was filmed september 2006.. the plot is similar, a road trip from bradford to london..but the dvd was made through my own film company inner circle films so i had full creative control( as ch 4 had control on the ch4 show) concrete playground is what i actually wanted estate of mind to be like. The new dvd was made in only 3 weeks (editing and everything) so that we could get it out in time for christmas. any constructive critisism regarding concrete playground is much appreciated...thanks .

So as this is the review section - any chance of a proper review of this DVD from (hopefully) Britain's next big TV magician?

It might be a somewhat biased review don't you think?

I meant by someone that's bought it - not for Dynamo to review it himself.

Jees, all I want is a review of the DVD!
