Greetings!

I can't help directly but if you select SEARCH above and enter the parameters you require you might find something useful. I've tried it with all three words but there's nothing specific coming back. If anyone has the required information it ought to be posted fairly soon - unless they prefer to keep it to themselves!

I believe the book you are refering to is "Revolutionary Card Technique" by Ed Marlo, and although I haven't the book myself I believe it is essentially a post-graduate course in cad based sleight of hand magic, and is not ideal for the beginner.

However, if you are looking to follow up from the RRTCM, then this is probably a good place to continue.

It has been highly recommended to me.

You can rest easy here, magicbilly, the automatic assumption is that anyone posting here has a great interest in magic but the level of ability & knowledge will vary tremendously.

As you will readily appreciate, the only thing we have to be careful of is temporary 'Blaine-ites' who are only trying to find out how tricks are done without paying for the knowledge!

Magicbilly, sorry if I implied you were a beginner in my previous message - I was just giving you the very little knowledge I already had about the book, ie I knew it wasn't aimed at the complete beginner. I didn't mean to imply anything. :)

Also I mentioned it was essentially a post-graduate course in cad based sleight of hand magic.

I naturally meant "Card Based", although that got me thinking. why isn't there more "Cad based" magic around these days?

C.A.D. Magic? As in Computer Aided Design? No way - as soon as you mention the word 'Design' we'd have millions of postings by Laurence Llewellyn Bowen!

OK, sunbeam, pistols at dawn - my seconds will call upon you! Then you launch into a dual bullet catching routine - you catch mine, I'll catch yours (ooo-err, missus). I like it, more please!!

launch into a dual bullet catching routine

 That's good, and would have made such a great magic act of the "Carter The Great" days of magic (did I mention it as a great book?)

I think a good old fashioned pick pocketing routine would be pretty cad like (especially if you didn't give the stuff back  ).

But of course we have our resident "cad" magician here already. I mean of course Seige (and I hasten to add - very quickly indeed that in this case I AM refering to Computer-Aided-Designer :) )

magicbilly,

get it, it is a classic. Simple as that. Advanced stuff, but invaluable stuff.
