Philosophers and discussions about them cropped up quite often in the Monty Python TV series - all very bizarre and well out of character for the sketches which made it all the more humorous. I can see mention of Monty Python and their fondness for philosophical discussions being a good way of leading in to C.E.S.

Don't want to be a wet blanket but I dislike immensely any review that is 100% positive. No effect is perfect. I have always suggested a PRO and a CON for every item. No item is perfect I know that and so does everyone else. I further realize that the presentation is what really is important. However, I wouldn't like to make a purchase and then find out that it cannot be performed by anyone that is left handed. Regardless of how insignificant the CON is couldn't we at least be informed. Thank you.
Otherwise in my opinion we are not getting honest reviews.

It can be done by a left handed spectator.

CONS that have been mentioned: can't be repeated to the same audience, some mentalists do not like playing cards, the pages are not printed on both sides, some say too much info on the pages, others say not enough, some say too pricey, some say just right.

If you have any other queries, I would be happy to answer them for you.

Cheers,

Todd

There is a great scene in Monty Python's Meaning of Life, when a couple have dinner in a bizarre 'torture' restaurant and have a scripted conversation about philosophy...

I am glad you liked it and learned something as well!

Love that. the menu is conversations, "Shall we have philosophy tonight dear?"[/quote]

I had the pleasure of performing Cogito on stage this last Thursday night.
The reaction was great, even though the volunteer wasn't wearing her glasses! I had her act as a conduit, and let the audience see the selection after it was revealed. The next day after the show, a guy that had been there saw me & told me "It was like you were just pulling the information from her mind." The options included in the instructions also allow for you to customize your own book & Dr. Todd offers some suggestions for a bizzare twist as well. This is a great effect & plays well live. You will need to present it in a convincing manner & it helps to do some background study if you wish to develop some patter on the philosopher (s) , but no problem- Dr. Todd has included the references for that as well. From a performance aspect - 10/10, based on feedback from the spectators that I have spoken to since the show.
