I have been practicing magic now for about two years. I buy books, videos, cards, props and all other kinds of magic effects, but I feel my experience is somewhat limited.

I am looking for a good magic club to join in the Manchester area. I'm not just looking for a club that offers memberhip for a tenner and then you get two news letters a year and a free trick, but a club that offers meetings, workshops, oppertunities to try out and learn tricks on and from other magicians.

If anyone could let me know of a good club i would be extremely grateful

I totally agree with you as that is exactly what im looking for

I used to be a member of the Order of the Magi. This club is actually in the centre of Manchester so I'd advise giving them a go. You'll have to perform some tricks before they'll accept you and then perform in the new members night, but it is a good club with lectures from top magicians.

The club is in the centre of Manchester! Walter lives in Northwich.

And their name "The order of the magi" is rather sinister too, just look it up in your history books.
