Magic society forums.

I was thinking (a very rare occasion) that maybe we should have a few forums on the different magic societies like the IBM and SAM/SYM. That way it would be easier to find out who's a member, what is going on, who's in a local ring, what your local rings are doing, anyone wanting to start a ring, reminders on upcoming meetings and events, etc...

Also, not just the IBM and SAM/SYM, those are just the 2 I know the most about, if there are some pretty big societies in the UK, Iceland, Canada, etc... then maybe have a forum for them too?

Just a thought,
~David

My local ring does all that on their page: post events, names, etc...

Maybe its special :D .

I guess it could work. But i think if they do, before you can enter them you should show proof.

I agree and nearly ALL magic societys have their own web that advertises their calendar of events.

If you track down a post by Bananafish you'll notice that he has an excellent link to all of the regional magic clubs as part of his signature.
