I dont get this.

but when i place it through penguin.com, it tries to charge me for international shipping.

I also tried http://www.penguinmagic.co.uk and as i click "checkout", that just automatically redirects me to penguin.com.

Penguin dont have a european wherehouse anymore so all orders are sent from the USA.

It might be worth contacting them, they're going against trading standards by offering free delivery and not honouring that when you go to pay.

Ach, they're p*ssing me off too, with their tantalising offers of £2.67 flash pads, only to be permanently out of stock, and not even trading from the UK by the sound of it.

If anyone from Penguin is reading this, please sort it out! Or at least put a notice up telling us what's going on. You had some regular customers here, now I've all but given up

Penguin magic as many may well know seem to have cheaper prices than most magic dealers. However, no disrespect to them, they have earnt the image of being dodgy. In dealing with Penguin Magic I have encountered many problems. The last order I made was about 6 months ago because they sent me an order which was destined for someone in Germany!!! I e-mailed and complained and all they said was that I would just have to keep the order and be satisfied. The order was worth about 7$ and so I assume some German man is walking around with MY MASTER'S TIME MACHINE!!!!!!!
