In Jay Sankeys XL DVD he teaches some great forces and you get a great trick in buying it.
Don't let the tricks get in the way of the magic!

They all use the force card on the top though.

Just wondering. Ive had a quick look around, but my internet is too slow for me to try harder. Can anyone find where to get Lewis Jones "The Encyclopedia of Card Forces".

Apparently, it was printed in 1994, and only 300 copies were ever made! Oh great. Top dollar (or pound, whatever), is it really worth it?

Well, it is complete, so I'd say it's worth it, and it contains very detailed notes and ideas on all the forces. It's £35 from Alakazam, which is pricey, but if you are a developer it's well worth having access to all that gen.

They don't, there's like 8 different handlings to the effect, and he shows a different force for each, the cards aren't just forced from the top.

I noticed several comments about not buying MM products. And one person (sorry, didn't remember who said what) mentioned it might be unethical. I don't know all the ins and outs yet of 'E'-purchasing magic material. But why is MM unethical? I don't want to support anything unethical.

MM had a reputation for copying effects and tricks invented by others. There's a website somewhere which shows the original and the MM copies side by side.

In the Gregory Wilson Lecture I went to he warned about magic makers and said how they have ripped off quite a few of his products, I think he said foreign affair was one of them.

Buy the book, learn from it, go out and do stunning magic for lots of money, then you can get someone else to cook and serve your food - and clear up afterwards :D !
