Poker: The Complete Chip and Card Handling Series

Hello guys. This one, yet again, is not a DVD about tricks. However, it is one that any card magician would benefit from immensely. It is actually a 4 DVD set (though you can buy them individually) by magician Rich Furguson

What they say:
Our DVDs are packed with the hottest stunts and tricks you have seen on television or live - all explained in detail by Rich. Also included are a dozen tricks that have never been revealed to the public - until NOW!

There are 4 DVDs in the full set. 'Chip Tricks', 'Card Stunts', 'Shuffles and Cuts' and finally 'Flourishes'.

What I say:
This set is probably about 60/40 good to bad. There are some incredible techniques in here. Flourishes that have some real WOW factor to them and lots of fancy shuffles and cuts you can throw into your routines.
Only downside is that Rich Ferguson isn't much of a teacher. He'll say "this is a really easy technique to master" and I'll be sitting there with cards all over the floor saying "yeah, it's really easy... If you have hands the size of dinner plates and are double-jointed in every knuckle....." since some of the tricks are INCREDIBLY difficult.

However, with practice, the routines on these DVDs are an INCREDIBLE addition to any card magician's show. And to be honest, the full set is so ludicrously cheap, it's well worth picking up just for the sake of having it as reference in your collection.

You can pick it up here for USD$40:

Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for the info, been looking for some books or DVDs on flashy style stuff. Although it sounds like this has some nice techniques in it, the lack of instruction is kind of a turn-off though, thanks for warning about it. :)

I will admit though, I'm really picky about instruction. I prefer someone like Gerry Griffin's instruction style. You may find Rich Ferguson to be fine. All it'll take on your part will be the rewind button and practice ;)
