Hey guys, I tried searching for a review of this and couldn't find anything. Forgive me if it has already been reviewed.
I have been getting so many tricks lately but haven't been able to review any because they all seem to already have reviews.
Anyway, here is my review of Hotshot Color Changes.
The Effect
Many different color change effects.
Cost
$39.95 for a 2 dvd set at www.magicproshop.com
Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)
Hm... hard to say because I am new to card magic but i would say 1 to 3.
Review
Ben Salinas teaches multiple color changes with great detail. You will finish watching the dvd and know exactly how all the color changes on the dvd are done. Pick your favorites and practice practice practice and you will be performing them for an audiance in no time. Here is a list copied from magicproshop of the different tricks you learn:

For the most part I feel it was it a very good dvd. The quality was excellent and Salinas was quite enthusiastic. All of the changes he goes into great detail and shows each step clearly so you know exactly how to do the change.
My major complaint, and I may just be crazy... but when he shows the shapeshifter (weird I don't see it listed) i don't believe that he performs it correctly. Before i got this dvd I also got the ShapeShifter dvd and they hold the card differently than Ben Salinas does. Maybe it is just a style thing....
This dvd is great for new magicians like myself and I think that it would be a great dvd to add to your collection even if you are more experienced and know many of the changes... you will no doubt find at least a few that you don't know.
As far as the price goes, I think that is VERY cheap when think about how many tricks you are getting.
Overall
Overall, great dvd... buy it unless you know every color change there is or you don't like color changes (shame on you). If you like these visual card effects like I do, go buy the dvd.
