Review

First off I should say that this is not for beginners. Daniel assumes you are familiar with many sleights, most notably the Gambler's Cop. The classic palm and Hermann-Turnover pass are both used as well, though Daniel does talk briefly about ways you could achieve the same effect with easier sleights.

One focuses solely on card effects most of which are impromptu or require very minimal set up. A few of the effects do require a gimmick though instructions on how to make them are given and all of the gimmicks are very simple to make.

My favourite effects from the notes are Cameo, a three-part card sandwiched between two other cards routine, and Lapse, a card-to-pocket with a very cool transposition.

The two psychological forces are also interesting, though I should mention that saying they predict with 100% accuracy is misleading in my opinion. Rather you get two forces which Daniel claims to have about a 80% success rate and then a failsafe you can use should the force fail.

If nothing else at least these tricks will serve as good practice for your gambler's cop. I wish Daniel would have gone into a bit more detail on how to execute it perfectly, instead of just assuming that we know it or will pick it up on the way. Nonetheless, a fine product and for £7.50 if even one of the effects strikes your fancy then surely it's worth the investment.

Hah, no I just stumbled across his site a few days ago and CUPS struck.

I came across Daniel by YouTube and became interested in his "enigmatic and dark persona" so to speak. This led me to his website and got interested with his products One and Irreversible.

This ebook was definitely interesting. No magical breakthroughs but would add more to your set of tricks. This is not just a statement since not all fo the new tricks we get can be "added' to our set of tricks.

"Cameo" is very good and I have been doing this more than a few times already and became a replacement to ACR on some occassions. The effect pays off well, maybe because it is a routine that gets powerful in every step or maybe people never saw sandwich tricks before (except from Mr. Blaine), at least on my end.

I do agree that the forces are not 100% accurate, as all psychological forces are. We all know this. Knowing this, I was not disappointed on his forces, but I still have to try these out first to strangers (not friends).

Althugh some of the other tricks are okay, I think they are worth the purchase, since this does not cost much. For example, I always have the gaffed pen with me for the trick 'Dividend', in which for magicians is a "so-so" trick but was suprisingly effective to laypeople. And I always end saying "This trick is so simple, why haven't I though of this?!"

As I have said, the tricks are very worth it for the small price.
