Review
The second series of lecture notes by Daniel Madison contains a number of solid effects but no real killers. A few of the effects I didn't really like, namely the Blaze effects and all the torn corner effects. Some Bad Hat Henry, FukinAces, One and Graffiti 2 are all nice effects but hardly anything revolutionary. Eccentric Tourist is a nice, fun effect that I've done a few times already always to a good reaction. Personally I like to take a "the magician fails miserably, wait, what?, the cards been there all along" approach but that may not fit everybody's style.
Unlike his other lecture notes (One, see my other review) it seems like on this one Daniel has just gathered up every little idea he had and just piled them together in Two. For example Breakout just feels like filler to me.
Interestingly, Daniel says that he had been doing Stigmata (released by Ellusionist) for years now, though with a different method which he gives here. FWIW I think the Ellusionist method is clearly better.
Overall
5/10, some solid effects, lots of filler.
