Joe Porper's Locking card box

I bought this item last week for around £250 from
www.elmwoodmagic.com and because it is such a lot of money I thought I'd give you an opinion on it in case anyone was considering shelling out their money.

Firstly, it is a beautifully engineered prop made from some exotic aircraft-quality metal and then anodised. It is surprisingly heavy (around 11oz) but I don't think it would be an issue carrying it around whilst performing close-up.

The one thing to consider here is the effect itself. At the end of the day, it is a card box and most people are going to suspect the obvious so a good routine is essential if you're going to get the most out of it. What I would say though is that the "secret" is diabolical and does not use the standard method of other cheap card boxes. A spectator will
not be able to prove anything !

I do feel that the quality is such that it would provide a lifetime of use. It seems bulletproof !

Hi, thanks for the info. There is a template that is used for reviews. It would be easier in the future if you used that, or edited your post to fit the template. That way everyone has a kind of complete review on the product, difficultly of the trick, own experience, ...

Thanks
