well i recently got my scorpion, and as a story telling device its great.

My other half gasped as i got it out of the box, I think she fears for my right hand. Along with a brace of other outlaw stuff,

With the exchange rate as it is, I think i have a genuine bargain

Not received mine yet but looking forward to it and can't wait t start adding it to my show. It looks like we may be auditioning for Britain's Got Talent. Now, I'm generally against using a specs hand for this kind of thing, but Simon Cowell? Hmmmmmm.
Even if it goes wrong, maximum publicity! It would be quite nice to be famous for being the man that impaled Cowell's hand.

Why does Chris make me think of Flower power days?????

I really like scorpion, I have made my own "Gimmick" for the "Mind reading" lets say, also I have a glove that looks like something from a S&M wardrobe for the handling of the scorpion. A wooden mixing bowl to mix the Anti venom, which all marry in with the turntable/screen I made. No one knows where the Scorpion is so I can't be accused of having a side kick.

I have a couple of spare Gloves and Gimmicks up for grabs if anyone is interested PM me Yes they are free

I think it's one of those trick you can make your own with maximum effect. My routine takes around 15 mins, Story, Safety , setup Spin, anti venom, Hesitation and blind fear from me... then the Crushing of the cups. You can add as much drama as you see fit or simply do a 2 min routine from beginning to end.

Well said. It's all about presentation. There are lots of helpful ideas on the private Scorp forum too.

Lord Freddie, your Scorp is somewhere over the Atlantic

I ordered mine last week so am looking forward to getting it. The "gimmick" was ordered from NUMS and with usual efficiency it turned up today. The gimmick is something I have been thinking about getting independantly for some time and I wish I had done so previously. It is a lovely piece of work and I have a dozen ideas of how to use it.

I also took delivery of a couple of Blackhart effects today. I will check through the reviews when I have had a proper look at them and either post reviews or add to what we have already.

My Scorpion arrived today. Yay! It looks and feels just as viscious as I expected (and hoped) it would. Good instructions included and excellent service from the man they call Roth.
I should imagine my credit card will be making friends with Outlaw's paypal account on a regular basis....

Agggggggghhhhhhhhhh just what I didn't want to hear. Mine is stuck somewhere in a very large backlogged pile in a sorting office together with Sanctum2. I have been trying to forget about them so I don't get too disappointed each evening - and then "old bean" you go and remind me that they are on their way - now I have 12 hours to wait til I get home....

Come on postie - put me out of my misery!!

Don't worry, they will come soon and for once the wait is worth it. You'll be impressed by both of them.

I used this on stage last night (first time in front of an audience) and I must say that it's a joy to perform and only a fool could mess it up.
It went down exceedingly well, though in future I may pop some balloons on it before I perform the effect just to reinforce it's sharpness.

The lady spec I invited up was rather brave with it. There was I delicately placing it in the palm of her hand and asking her to be careful when she just grabs it! Woman of steel!

A great effect and for the price (and look of it) beats all similar routines out there.
