Can anyone point me in the way of a good book or effect where one can reveal the Star sign of ones’ spec? I like to include something like this is my close up / small stage set I am working on. And for close-up I think this would be a good middle of closing effect. Any suggestions are welcome.

There is just the thing in syzergy. Though it is rather expensive just to buy for one effect. Though there is a lot of excellent ideas in there.

The best I have encountered is Dream Signs by Daniel Love... beautiful!

The original Ray Grismer "What's My Sign" and similar systems by Banachek and T.A. Waters as well as th Dream Sign routine are all rather solid, I think there's another variation out there too by Doug Dyment.

Alain Nu has a routine known as Zodiesque featured in SYZYGY that's awesome for larger groups. I'll likewise recommend Joshua Quinn's ASCENSION though it's a book test type set-up it's a bit diabolical in over all presentation value.

I believe it was in PSYCHOLOGICAL SUBTLETIES I... I (regrettably) lent my copy out (some years ago) and it's yet to find its way back into my grubby hands

I will make a note about DREAM SIGNS... it's not exactly an easy method for most and if you aren't versed in working with anagrams and more importantly, watching people closely, it could prove more difficult when it comes to perfecting one's skill. I've cheated this issue a bit by tying what I'm doing to Palmistry... or, to be more specific Muscle Reading

There is a truth to what I'm doing within shut-eye circles; the philosophy by certain palmists that one Astrological Chart can be found within the hand. I use this to my advantage.

Another "trick" if you would, is in PS1... I'll just say "STOP SIGN" and let you consider how one could have a person just close their eyes and think "LOUDLY" the word "stop" when you mention their sign... if you pay attention you'll discover a wonderful tool

I know that Steve is just now seeing a couple of weeks off with the final season of Criss Angel wrapping. There's been talk about re-releasing the book but I've not heard from Steve or Scott as to when it will be back out for certain.

BTW... I'd suggest you guys take a look at my VISIONS column this month if you're looking for neat, inexpensive mentalism bits that are simply dynamite. I did a feature on a gent named Jimmy Fingers who is an old friend of Banachek's and technically speaking, a neighbor (give or take a block or two). This guy is simply brilliant when it comes to looking at simplicity and being resourceful.
