It might also be the strong psychological meanings attached to MONEY. Potentially ripping up some money is a lot more involving than potentially damaging a playing card.

I absolutely agree. Money always gets attention, and if you borrow the money from the spectator, so much the better. After putting the pen through the money, I always look up and ask, "did you need this back?" Good for a laugh. You can also play the same line as if you really aren't sure you can pull the trick off. Either way, it adds to the performance.

The version we sell is called Ultimate PENetration Plus. I know there are other very similar versions out there. We also have one that comes packaged with a DVD, but to be honest I haven't seen the DVD yet.

Very fun trick and not hard to master.

I have one I got about 6 years ago, but its not one that I like to perform, as its a very stressful one for me. Im so worried about the giveaway sound, or something dropping, that it sits at the bottom of my bag of tricks...
