1:Yes the ring is actually on the shoelace

2: They can see it is there and you can openly show the ring in the loop untie it and remove the ring.

3: I have perfromed this dozens of times in the real world not once has anyone requested I remove my shoe, or even got down on their hands and knees to look at it. I think you are asking for the impossible this is a trick, magic is not real we just make it look like it is!!!

blasphemy

and as for you

Is the ring ACTUALLY on the shoelace? Can the spectator examine it all they want and see it on the lace? Is it the same lace that is on your shoe? And finally can the shoe be taken off with the ring still attached?

Yes Yes and yes.....Buy it its great........

it seems that some of those questions are fishing for possible methods, not saying you are, but it comes accross that way.

This is a real world worker.. the spec will never ask to look at your shoelace.. why would they? They can see its bloody tied to it!!

Thats all you need to know.. its pretty straightforward!!

I dont see the need to know the inner workings of an effect when all that is required is to know the effect is practical... and this is!!

I wasnt referring to you Chris.

I was referring to Lefteye.. and all I meant was that a couple os his questions were irrelevant and were basically asking how it was done.. although not intentinally im sure.. just digging a bit too deep.

Im glad you watched the routines.. they are amazing arent they.. i am making up around 4 or 5 pairs of trousers at month end.

Thats fine.. but you are taking away a huge part of what interlace is all about!!

Dont worry about the ring.. if the setup is right.. you wont have to worry about the ring as its taken care of..

Sorry if it came across as phishing around. It wasn't and was not looking for methods, but I was half working (i say working, I had the idea) of an effect like this in my head a while ago - but my one is no way near as clean as this.

I think I will be buying this probably tomorrow, as that's when I get paid. Along with Expert at the Card Table DVD. Expensive day!

Thanks for pointing it out though ID!

I didnt think you were, it was just the questions were putting a little too much heat on things.. hehe..

specs will NEVER want to examine your shoe.. but once you have taken the ring off.. of course they can!!

I personally love this weffect. Just bought it, and I need to work the bugs out before taking it public.... some adjustments and refitting maybe. The gimmick is genius and nothing like I expect it. Also, the cool thing is I bought it directly from Sanders himself! I took a photo with him, and my Richard Sanders photo will be up on my website soon! :)

He was at the CAM Convention and it was great to meet him!

I've been looking forward to getting this for ages and finally stumped up the cash and ordered direct from Mr Sanders himself

How long does the delivery take roughly? I ordered on the 2nd July so very hopeful it'll arrive any day now.

did anyone use velcro for this in the end? does it work ok? it seems easier, i can get sticky velcro easy enough, i thinking of just using that instead.

I didn't do textiles in school, and i ain't starting now, and my misses isn't gonna find out how this is done.
