Mandrake

The upshot of the question is that YOU have the power as an admin to do this as a one-off, I think.

There's an option somewhere in the Admin control panel, which will allow you to change the max Avatar file size. I'm sure the esteemed and revered host of the board will make an exception for his Millennial-posting Admin - seeing as you've contributed so much, it's only an ickle wickle thing to ask!

(Don't usually do the brown-nosing bit, but it's different when you do it for someone else)

OOOOOOOOOOOO-ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! (said in a nasal Kenneth Williams voice)

Yup - Laurence has been in touch re this and asked me to put it on the shopping list. I can see the setting to change (and it's wickedly easy!) but have this feeling that everything will go pear shaped if I toggle the settings. It usually does!

Actually, I've just had another look at the animated avatar and the darned thing moves faster than I do - worrying or what?!

I believe avatars should exist so people could remember users more easyly.

Hi Michael, welcome to the Forum - as you can see most of us have Avatars now and yours looks frighteningly familiar!
