Being subjective is all so subjective master Abraxus.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Go with the original suggestion. There's no reason not to support that charity.

Stop being difficult Mark! Keep on like that and we'll be raising money for the 'Reconstructive Surgery On Markdini's Shins Fund'

I am just saying some people may find cancer worth while to support while others may find that cancer gets enough money and why not strokes? Or mental illness?

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

No Mark, you're being difficult!

Fair enough point though, it was just cancer as that's what was selected. If it ever happens, we should hold a vote to the charity. My personal preference would be a children's charity.

The pink forum idea could be misconstrued, people may think we all wear leather and listen to Judy Garland.

Anyhow, I nominate Mark Lewis for member of the month.

Now if I wanted to be difficult I could be. This will tip the boat. I dont actually belive in Charity (even though I am on the board of one) well I am not in favour of some idiot sitting in a bath of baked beans for starving people, why dont they just send the beans to the starving? Or people like Bono telling me to support things when him in self set up business in Switzerland so he didnt have to pay tax in ireland so he could help his fellow country men?

But a member of the month is a good idea.

come on now mr.markdini...you cant say you're against charity and then tell everyone on here you are infact, a board-member of one...

tsk, tsk, tsk...perhaps there is subconciously, a part of yourself that wishes to promote the caring side of you, but at the same time, you also conciously wish to show that you are a hard-nosed realist...

which would lead me to believe, well...i wont say the rest on a public forum...

let's just see where the idea goes before we go any further eh...

Hahaha. Well that cheered me up Master Abraxus. And not a pink and fluffy thing in sight.

I infact vote I.d as member of the month.....that surprised a few people. Well he has over come his problem and didnt leave in the end.

What's wrong with that? Are you one of those people that thinks there's something funny about wearing chaps, peaked caps and false moustaches? You're just like my wife!
She won't do it either.

Anyway, back to charities: "Not to aid one in distress is to kill him in your heart." I don't recall anyone ever asking me to send my beans to South Africa and Bono - apart from what he's given himself - has helped to inspire huge contributions to charity from millions of others and he doesn't have to do it.

Mark Lewis could doubtless suggest a charity.

i absolutely detest the man, Bono that is...

He's just pure ego on legs and piggy-eyed with it...but, as Chaz (if i may call him that) has just said..he has actually helped out, when he could just stay in his castle made of gold and eat his own money...

i've contributed to a charity that Reverend Lewis will be proud of...i bought some of his dvds... :)

Which reminds me of one of my favourite quotes: "Charity begins at home, but justice begins next door' (Dickens, I think).

No, I don't wish to be called Chaz. It makes be sound like some scabrous, greasy haired cockney with a poor excuse for a beard that's dripping with Red Barrel and chunks of jellied eel. So, gertcha!
