Hi there,
I have to agree with all that has been said regarding this DVD.
The 'bends' themselves are not that difficult to do - however, getting the misdirection is key to this routine, and this DVD has excellent ideas and tips.
Banachek's performance is excellent and highly polished. I've been repeatedly watchin the 'performance' section, and trying to see how the moves are incorporated into the act. Even when you know what he is doing, you can't help getting sucked into the misdirection, and missing what you were looking out for!
Excellent.
Here's my tip - Make sure you get the right forks to start with. I bought cheap ones from a pound shop initially, and became really disapointed as I couldn't make the bends at all. It turns out, the forks were just really good quality 'cheap' ones! A tip I read elsewhere on this site suggested ASDA, so I popped down there last night, and got a few packs of '4 for 89p' (and a strange look off the checkout girl!). They made such a difference! I was practicing until the small hours last night, and really getting into the routine.
My other new toy this week is a set of cups and balls. Can't wait to see the faces of the ASDA staff when I pop along at the weekend with a cup and test fitting lemons into it!!
Thanks!
