I think the judges would assume the hypnotist was faking it, stooges is an easy assumption to jump to. Slightly off topic, anyone ever seen a hypnotist called Martin Taylor? He's very good, I highly recommend him.

Also, I met "Dr Gore" whilst performing at a masquerade ball in Oxford, where he was doing card magic. I'd say he's a better close up than stage magician, but if I'm honest I wasn't particularly taken with his style. That's personal preference though.

The majority of people that end these programs, havent got the same intellect as someone who would intend a stage hypnosis or stage magic show. Its a very odd audience who just want beautiful men and women prancing about in tight clothes!
