Sorry for digging up such an old review but I forgot I even had this - I stumbled across this review whilst I was searching for something else

Well, after reading a few of the comments on here, I've just been playing with it (ok, you can all stop giggling now  ) and without giving too much away, I've decided on a better placement of the gimmick, so I've made room in my pocket for this tonight and we'll see how it goes down the local

My quick two-penneth: This trick rocks but, as mentioned in earlier posts, it's all about how you present it. If you just do it as a, "I bet I can guess which hand the ball is in", routine, then you're losing out on so much more.

This gets 8/10 from me

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Come on guys.... If you need a good presentation of this fantastic effect... use a pk ring and a £20 note.. with the line of would you marry for love or money...

kills everytime and gets rid of the silly coin/"magic ball" that you have to try to explain....

You can thank me anytime for not making an ebook of this idea and charging you £20 :D

Be careful with this !

Postby darrenthomson » Nov 20th, '06, 18:13

Hi all,

I would just like to warn people to be careful with this one.. Personally, I LOVE this effect. It really rewards those who are prepared to build on the basic principle with lots of Derren Brown-style NLP/Mentalism/body language dialogue and, for me, it has never failed. I currently perform it with a 50 pound note which I stand to lose if I guess wrong. I do this because my experience of the gimmick has been so good..

..On another note (and the real reason for this message). THE GIMMICK CAN BE DANGEROUS. I do not want to tip the method here but I have personally spent nearly 5 hours in my local Accident & Emergency department having this thing extracted from the very sensitive area of the body that this trick make use of ! Now, this was clearly caused by an error on my part and I by no means blame the manufaturer...However, let me tell you that the ridiculous situation stopped being funny at the point where I need to be knocked out at the hospital in order for the A&E folk to operate on me !!

I am sending this particuarly in case there are younger folks thinking about getting this, just play careful... I was clearly an idiot for getting into this situation but I bet I'm not the only one.. This gimmick could be safer.

Regards,

D.

on first viewing, this is a very good value set...

you get the necessary "things", and a medallion/coin looking object - sun and moon on opposite sides...

you get all of the below for £34.99:
Eye to Eye
Body Language
Houdini Card Mystery
Super Memory
Mostradamus
Numerology

no other props included apart from the coin and necessary thing though...

the dvd is good, basic packaging, but the explanations are thorough...very glad i got this...

Without giving the method away its hard to explain why it could possibly be dangerous, but its definatley not sharp.. and you'd have to VERY unlucky to actually hurt yourself with it.

Go for it you won't be dissapointed.

Agreed with the above

It can be dangerous (if that's the correct word) if you're not careful. You won't actually hurt yourself but you may end up in an uncompromising predicament :? . I can't really say much more for fear of exposure, but if you do get it (and I highly recommend it  ), then PM me and I'll give you details of how you can perform it risk free, as my method uses a slightly different way

thanks, I think I will order it today!!! I have just watched the trailer for ETE TO EYE and Charles keeps touching his ring finger whilst performing the trick. Im not sure whether he has a ring on his finger, I think it would be disapointing if the gimmick is a ring.

moonbeam I will pm you when product arrives. thanks

Paul

What do you get with this effect?
There is a similar sounding one in Mark LeMezma's 'How To Be A Mind Magician' where you can spot which hand a coin is held in by which way their nose points. Surely this is not the same kind of thing for the price it is?
