Well, I shall certainly be buying a copy in the near future.
As overpriced as it seems, it appears there could be some good, usable information in it.

Sure. You've made the right choice. The more thought you put into it, the more you'll get out, but fundamentally, you've made the right choice. A guy on the Magic Cafe PM'd me this morning to say he's had 100% success with the Naked Book Test. Hopefully, when you realise what it can hand you, you'll realise it's underpriced ;)

It's funny, but two groups seem to be buying the book. One wants to learn more about how to construct and use psychological forces in a wide range of situations, the other wants the impromptu power of the NBT. I can't wait until someone combines the two. It might unleash Hell

Markdini has had some great ideas on how to force shapes etc. They are really good and sneaky. Opps I mean it has given me a few ideas for things.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Umm, I think I'm missing something. Impromptu, someone else's book and you can do it over the phone... And there are times you go with "Make" and the word turns out to be "Made"? That is bloody brilliant! Isn't always more believable when you are damn close rather than being bang-on accurate? And man, if someone called me up and told me to choose a word in any book I own and they got the exact word with ONE letter incorrect... Well I would be at the windows looking for Jon hiding up a tree with his binoculars, spying on me and my book!

I have a feeling that I know what the method is (or parts of it) and if I'm right then wow what an idea. And if the book goes over more than just the Book Test then how can anyone say it's overpriced? I wish more great material was made expensive! I've got a single-trick coming out soon thats £120... The more people who say it's overpriced the better! Let the real performers make the most of the purchase!

Jon, I'm interested in the Naked Coin Prediction... How does it play in the eyes of a spectator?

Well, a friend of mine learned the technique and went to Glastonbury with it and got what he described as 80% of them right from a long succession of people who thought he was genuinely reading their minds. He'd never done this sort of thing before and I think he shocked himself. As with all Naked techniques, there's an element of risk, but there's no method either, so if you set the expectation that it's an ability you're learning and can improve on rather than a trick that will just work, it's got the potential to be really rather powerful, especially if you do it to a lot of people in one go to expose a pattern of overall success in the results. I mean, once is a fluke, but ten times in a row is downright witchcraft.

So, if anyone saw a short bloke, about 60, with wild grey Einstein hair and a henna tattoo of a dragon on his upper left cheek walking about the place asking people to concentrate on the mint dates of their coins, that was him.

Got my pdf copy from Jon on Saturday and looking forward very much indeed to receiving the hardcopy by post soon! :D

From the description on Saturday, and from the recommendations I have received, both personally and via the forums, I have little doubt it will be an excellent read.

I was told from the beginning from a fellow mentalist that this is a book you are supposed to give time to and study - not one to flick through if you like - and that if studied, it will not only prove very valuable indeed, but that it is also an excellent read!

I will be happy to post my own comments once I have had the chance to read it carefully, and look forward to doing so!

Hi Marvell,

Slight correction... I don't think there is a pdf version generally available and on sale, though Jon himself would be the one to tell you more specifically.

A pdf version was handed out by Jon himself at the London Mentalism Meeting on Saturday simply because DHL had let him down re deliveries of the hardcopy book. He had very kindly sorted out pdf copies for those who had pre-ordered the book and were travelling to the meeting so they were not left feeling let down.

An excellent bit of customer service I thought! :)

Having said that, I DO know that delivery of the books is iminent, so if you were to order now, I am sure you would have pretty much no wait at all! :)

Hope that helps!

Best,

What she said!

It was just a stopgap for the people on Saturday.

Blummin' DHL, mutter grumble. They sent the package back to the warehouse because of "inadequate addressing". It arrived today and it had the full address, my name AND the post code TWICE and a map showing where I live!

Tomo there are words for people like you

I finally cracked and ordered this book today to check the thing out for myself. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.
