Will be performing this at my Close up gigs from now on , Starting Tonight.

Wow, you worked that up quickly Michael....I will be asking for a demo at the Milestone! It is good that it is practical and doable...I love the Ted Lesley version.

This effect does look truly astonishing and I can imagine this effect will get alot of repeat bookings if performed correctly. I think another £30 will have to be spent there's not much more you can ask for out of an effect than this it does look like a real miracle.

I don't think that you'll be disapointed Lindz.
I've performed a few times to friends and family as part of my prep to get it to real performance level and their reactions have every bit what I had hoped for.

Thanks for the reassurance Dat and pushing me closer to the confirm payment button
I really can't see a spectator reacting in any other way than they have just seen a real miracle happen.

But I know the glass needs to be prepped somewhat firstly - so what's to stop a spectator from simply saying 'well very impressive but you've already done something to the glass beforehand?' Is there a method where you can literally sit down at a table, apply the prep to any glass on there, and then just start the trick, to make it LOOK as if it was impromptu? Or does the glass have to be planted for this sort of effect?
Don't take this the wrong way mate I mean what I am about to say is with good intentions. This is the difference between a professional and a hobbyist, a professional has the experiance and knowledge to make this effect look impromptu where has the hobbyist will not have this experiance so it may seem very daunting but with the knowledge and experiance it is quite infact one of the more simple bits of preparation for effects like these. I obviously don't know your status so what I have said may not be of much use too you but as I said please don't take this comment the wrong way.

I'm not going to give too much away here other than to say all that you need to know in order to perform this routine successfully is included on the DVD.
I don't think that it's worth adding more to what has already been said already in this thread as it just gives away more and more of the method.
If you don't want it by this stage then perhaps it's not for you.

Got my copy today, going to try it out over the weekend. By the way no one mentioned the key bend that is also on the DVD.

I ordered this and I am really impressed. Not for every situation, but for the end of a show or a special table of people in a banquet situation or wedding, this WILL be a killer!

The one aspect that seems to be missing from the review is that whilst the effect will be well received by a reasonably large audience in a cabaret setting, there are some real angle issues that need to be considered when performing close-up for more than one person.
I for one will probably keep this in mind for special occasions and use a champagne glass to make the effect more morable.
